Annabel’s practice explores historical, cultural and personal aspects of identity & belonging, shame & loss.

She makes abstract work with paper & textiles, using print & embroidery.

Annabel is a language graduate from Manchester University & worked in the fashion & beauty industries from the mid 1980s until 2018.

In 2022 she completed an MA in Fashion & Textile Design at Nottingham Trent University, which has been the platform for her development as an artist & a researcher.
